Why Inheritance Items Are Sold

Many wish to sell inheritance items for cash. This is mainly done because one has no emotional attachment to the items bestowed upon them, or because of the additional expense caused by taxes that occur with ownership. While there is no standard as to which items will be passed down between family members, commonly inherited items include: antiques, collectibles, property, vehicles, personal artifacts and more. While sometimes items are sold because of indifference or financial hardship, other times items are sold because of painful memories. Items can often negatively affect the grieving process which is unbearable to some individuals. Grieving will still occur, whether an item is sold or kept.
